Op 16 december worden de British Comedy Awards voor de 25ste keer uitgereikt. Jonathan Ross presenteert het gala. De nominaties zijn inmiddels bekend geworden.

De comedyserie Toast of London, over acteur Steven Toast, heeft de meeste nominaties gekregen, andere series met meerdere nominaties zijn House of Fools (absurdistische comedy met Vic & Bob), Uncle (comedy over nietsnut die zich meer met zijn kleine neefje gaat bemoeien) en The Wrong Mans (twee gewone mannen komen in de wereld van maffia en geheim agenten terecht).
